IT IS HERE……………..Just a few decades ago, the idea that a person could use a non-surgical procedure to get rid of excess fat seemed like a thing out of science fiction. But a few years ago, this all changed in the form of Vanquish ME™ non-surgical fat reduction treatments.
Unlike CoolSculpting®, which uses cold to kill fat cells, Vanquish ME™ uses radiofrequency energy to heat up the fat cells. They reach a point where they will rupture, break apart and eventually be absorbed into the body. One of the nice things about the Vanquish ME™ treatment is that it can be performed on a person without disrupting any of the other tissue or structures of the body.
When a person looks at CoolSculpting® and Vanquish ME™, they might think that both of these treatments are basically the same thing, except one uses cold and the other uses heat. However, nothing could be farther from the truth. One of the major differences between CoolSculpting® and Vanquish ME™ is that the latter can be used on just about any patient.
One of the biggest downsides of CoolSculpting® is that it will only work if patients have pensionable fat. The patient would need to have fat that can be suctioned into the CoolSculpting® hand piece. With Vanquish ME™ non-surgical fat reduction, even patients who have just a little bit of fat that does not go away from diet and exercise can benefit.
Another benefit of Vanquish ME™ is that it can treat a larger area than its competition. This is important because some CoolSculpting® patients have been left with demarcations between the areas that were treated and those that were not, which is not desirable.
Since Vanquish ME™ can be used on a large treatment area and since the treatment procedure can be done in multiple stages where the treated areas are feathered, there is a uniform and smooth appearance to the treated area.
Vanquish ME™ can be used on a person regardless of their body type. Additionally, the radiofrequency energy will tighten the skin. The heat will encourage the body to make more collagen. And because of that, when a patient loses fat in a particular area, the skin in that area is also encouraged to tighten up.
